Shore Thing Rental Guidelines

Ordering/Cancellation

Full payment is due at time of reservation. All orders are subject to availability. Customers can cancel all or part of the reservation/order for a full or partial refund, excluding the service fee, if cancellation is received two days prior to scheduled delivery date. Orders cancelled less than two days’ notice before scheduled delivery date a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be made on or after the scheduled delivery date or due to inclement weather. All cancellations or changes must be received directly by telephone or in writing by email. We will not accept cancellations or changes by voicemail.

Rental Pickup

Rental items must be available for pickup no later than 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on the day(s) of scheduled pickup. Rental items will be picked up at the same location that they were delivered, unless otherwise notified. At times, rental items may be left outside in an appropriate place. If it is not feasible to leave the rental items at the delivery location, please call prior to checkout before 9:00 a.m. CST to arrange for pickup of the rental items.

Rental items should be returned clean, with sand and/or debris removed from the equipment. If items are returned unclean, a $20 cleaning fee (per item) will be charged.

Loss/Damage

Rental items are to be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. All parts and accessories must be intact, and the equipment should be in good working condition, except for any reasonable wear and tear. If rental items are lost, stolen or damaged, you are responsible for paying in full for the lost or damaged items(s).

Deliveries

A minimum order of $55.00 (before tax), per delivery date is required to receive free delivery. Orders under $55.00 (before tax), per delivery date will be charged a delivery fee of $15.00. Deliveries are made between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., no refunds will be given for delayed delivery. If you are not present to receive your rental items, at our discretion and depending on the items, they will be left outside the delivery area or inside the premises. If we do not feel it’s appropriate, in our judgment to drop items off without you being present, we will contact you to schedule a time for your items to be delivered in our presence. All items require an adult, aged 25 years or older to be present, and you are required to contact us within 24 hours upon receipt of items if any items are missing, incomplete, or damaged.

Return of Purchased Items

At Shore Thing, we realize that, at times, items may not be what you’ve wanted or expected. Items can be returned or exchanged within 24 hours of receipt. We require the customer to contact us via email and phone regarding the exchange or return of merchandise. Our contact information is the following: [email protected], phone number (850) 730-4642. In order to exchange the product or receive a refund, except for service fee, all merchandise must meet the following requirements: It must be unworn, unused, and tags need to be attached to the merchandise. We reserve the right to limit or decline returns that do not meet these requirements.

Hurricane Policy/Inclement Weather

If there is a mandatory hurricane evacuation issued by local officials, please call our office to schedule for the equipment to be picked up. All rental items must be returned to Shore Thing Beach Rental Supplies and Services. If your stay was interrupted by a named hurricane and a mandatory evacuation was issued a pro-rated refund or credit will be issued to you for time remaining on your rental equipment. If the mandatory evacuation occurs two days before or the day of your arrival a full refund, or a credit will be issued. Refunds will not be given for purchased items (non-rentals) to customers who have received the items.

No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
